Purchased in 2015, this parcel contains 70 acres of beautiful, early successional woodlands, wetlands and endangered species habitat. The property is laced with old stone walls, evidence of the pastures and farmland of long ago. The forest was harvested in 2012 and provides an example of forest renewal and succession. This property provides hiking trails in the northwest corner of town and nearby Silverbell Farms serves ice cream in season. A short connector trail through Silver Bell gives access to the Crane Hill Conservation Area in Wilbraham.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
