This unique and beautiful area features mature woodlands in a large forest block with well marked hiking trails. This area is owned by the Town of Monson and Opacum Land Trust holds the conservation restriction on it.

Trail Information

Trails: There is a well marked loop trail for hiking. See map on the property kiosk.

Directions: The trailhead is on Reimers Road in Monson, approx. 1 mile from the intersection with Silver St and approx. 1 mile from the intersection with Stebbins Rd.

Parking: There is limited parking in the parking lot, but plenty of parking available on the side of the road.

Trail Use: Hunting is allowed on this property in accordance with Mass Fish & Wildlife regulations and schedule. Make sure to wear orange during hunting season. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.
