Building Resilient Landscapes: 25th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration

Join Opacum Land Trust as we launch our 25th anniversary celebrations. Executive Director, Laney Wilder and Board President, Leslie Duthie will get us started reflecting on where we’ve been and looking ahead to where we hope to go in the next quarter century.

Then we’ll hear from our featured speaker, Dan Jaffe Wilder, author and Director of Applied Ecology at Norcross Wildlife Foundation, for a discussion about building resilient landscapes. Dan will address the numerous challenges and solutions for building resiliency into our communities and into our landscapes, from the importance of local land conservation and native plants, to dealing with weeds and the problem that is the American Lawn.
