What: Holiday Wreath Making Workshop- we will discuss the importance of sustainable forest harvesting practices and how to identify the different species of trees and plants in the area. Participants will gain hands-on experience in foraging, learning which materials can be harvested responsibly without harming the environment. We will walk along moderate terrain to collect evergreen branches and pinecones to put together a holiday wreath that participants can take home.

Max participants: 15

Where: Dingley Dell, Monson Rd, Brimfield, MA

Directions: Take Monson Road from Route 20 in Brimfield. Follow road for 0.6 miles, the trail head will be on your left. 42.118540, -72.255767

Parking: There is a gravel parking lot with an Opacum sign.

Notes: Moderate terrain trails with some steep sections. Please bring work gloves and clippers if you have them. If not, let us know and we will bring extra. Snacks will be provided. No previous crafting experience is necessary. Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on forest trails. Join us for a fun and fulfilling day of creativity, learning, and connection with nature!
