Building Resilient Landscapes: 25th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration

Join Opacum Land Trust as we celebrate our 25th anniversary with a special presentation of Building Resilient Landscapes by Dan Jaffe Wilder, author and Director of Applied Ecology at Norcross Wildlife Foundation. Dan will discuss the numerous challenges presented by a changing climate and the need to build resiliency into our landscapes. He will offer solutions and steps that we can all take to contribute to the resiliency of our landscapes and our communities. This wide ranging talk will touch on many topics including dealing with weeds, the problem that is the American lawn, the importance of native plants, local land conservation, and more.
